The Pfizer vaccine for eligible patients; those aged from 16 years to < 60 years, will be available from mid July at Brook Medical Centre. We will open bookings for these vaccines in a couple of weeks.
AstraZeneca vaccine continues to be available and is the vaccine for those who have already had their first vaccination; from 18 yrs of age, and all patients 60 years and older.
It is important to have the second dose to achieve full immunity.
Vaccination is according to the current ATAGI medical advice and health department regulations. We are therefore not allowed to give patients the vaccine not advised for their age group.
